The Buttler-Klose Foundation may support charitable projects that pursue one of the purposes specified in its statutes.
The Foundation's statutory purposes are:
- Promotion of science and research
- Promotion of religion
- Promotion of education and training
- Promotion of arts and culture
Support may be provided through grants to public institutions, charitable organizations, foundations, and associations.
Direct support may also be provided through scholarships (for studies, internships, etc.).
In special cases, assistance may also be granted to individuals facing personal hardship (§53 German Fiscal Code).
